Social Media Plugins for Your WordPress Blog

We love WordPress. And we love social networking. There are plenty of ways to connect the two – here are a handful of them.

Sexy Bookmarks

See the fancy pop-up icon bar at the bottom of this post? That’s Sexy Bookmarks, one of my personal favorites when it comes to WordPress plugins. Not because it’s pretty, colorful and adds an interactive touch to your blog – but because it’s super fun.

I Love Social Bookmarking

I Love Social Bookmarking is a less in-your-face and more the-girl-next-door version of Sexy Bookmarks. It lets you share your favorite posts on some of the bigger social media sites through a simple but attractive drop-down list.

Digg This

Are your readers too lazy to leave comments on your blog? Why not do both them and yourself a favor and add a “Digg This” button to your posts. Not only is it a fast and easy way to show appreciation for a blog post – your readers don’t even have to be Digg members to do it, since they can login using their Facebook accounts.

Dandy ID

Not suited for the low profile blogger, Dandy ID lets you display all your social media identities on your blog. Rather than sharing your posts, people will be able to find you pretty much everywhere on the web – yes, Dandy ID supports over 300 social networking sites, including a lot of which I can guarantee you’ve never heard of.

If you currently have a blog designed/hosted by One Lily – we can install any of the plugins above for you, for $50 per plugin.  Contact us today – and we’ll get it started.
